Walt Disney World Resort

Epcot is a
Disney theme park is divided into two areas: Future World, with
attractions based on modern advances and futuristic projections, and World
Showcase, where various world cultures are on display. is a two-part
project with no end in sight. Future World is a constantly evolving
component that displays a continual focus on technological advancements
that the times ahead may hold. World Showcase allows visitors to
experience the customs and cultures of eleven different nations in a
single afternoon. Additional attractions found here include a jaw-dropping
laser show and numerous other interesting shows.
Disney's
Animal Kingdom
is Disney's newest theme park lets you explore the unpredictable world of
animals on safari, in a prehistoric world and at stage shows. Animal
Kingdom was thought of after the successful Lion King movie. In the park
you will find the Tree of Life. This spectacular tree includes sculptures
of various animals and stands 14 stories high. Amazing! There are several
interactive sections as well as a show about being a bug in which you don
bug eyes. A fun show!
Magic Kingdom
is one of four separate theme parks within the Disney World complex. It
consists of seven different lands, including Main Street USA, Tomorrowland,
Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square and Toontown
Fair; each of these exciting realms brings a different figment of the
imagination to life. In this fantasyland, children are able to safari in
an African jungle, interact with Pluto and Donald Duck and embark on
adventures in a world that existed hundreds of years ago.
Disney-MGM Studios
Site of the film and television studios of the Disney Company where
visitors can "co-star" in a television show or get a chance to watch a
film or television production in the making.
Disney-MGM Studios provides a back
stage look at TV and movie productions as well as radio broadcasts and the
making of animated programs. One of the best parts about this theme park
is that it isn't all just for show, as the facilities are entirely
functional. Children enjoy strolling down legendary streets like Sunset
Boulevard or Dalmatian Avenue as they make their way to the next
fascinating attraction. Two of the most popular rides include The Tower of
Terror (a 13-story free fall) and Rock n' Roller Coaster.
Cirque Du Soleil
Billed as "theatrical ride for the senses," this is one of a handful of
permanent Cirque Du Soleil displays around the world. Consistent rave
reviews make this show, written and directed by Franco Dragone, a must-see
for the whole family while in Orlando. The theater is set up so that
everyone has the best possible view. Then you have the performances, which
feature unbelievably magical talent. Reservations can be made up to 6
months in advance.
DisneyQuest, a
state-of-the-art interactive fun park, provides a full afternoon of fun
activities for the entire family. Young children, especially, will enjoy
the Create Zone, whose Animation Academy artists help them learn how to
draw Disney characters, and the Replay Zone. And the rides, you wonder?
Let's just say there are more than enough to entertain the older kids and
their parents: Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster, Pirates of the Caribbean:
Battle for Buccaneer Gold and CyberSpace Mountain, to name but a few.
Should the family get a little hungry, there's no reason to leave, for the
Cheesecake Factory Express and Wonderland Café offer a variety of tasty
